Ekiwumulo talkshow. Spirit FM 96.6 Radio teaching shows (featured)

Over the last 10 years, Washington Ssebina and co-host Kigula has run 3 teaching shows weekly on Spirit FM; fully sponsored and sustained by locals. Uganda is now ripe for a conversation on national transformation. The cutting edge of this platform is reformation in the body of Christ.

Business Catalyst Forum suggested.

This Forum has been proposed as a platform to support ongoing engagement between business leaders in our network, and as a means to expand the L555 resource base.

Feb. 2017. Education Co-creation Lab

The vision is to catalyse a process of thoughtful collaboration with multi-disciplinary stakeholders in order to synthesize Uganda’s resources towards innovative and systemic impact in education. This process is being led by Aaron Kirunda (Uganda Spelling Bee) and a foundational strategy has been co-created. L555 hosted an Education Catalyst engagement with six participants who explored the iceberg model and co-created a forward-looking framework that would guide their continued collaboration.

The ideaIncubator process: 10 ideas, 10 incubatees, 10 months.

·      2016 Q3: 3 engagements on Introduction to Authentic Leadership; 50 people.
·      2017 Q1: 4 follow-up sessions; 20 participants and 14 completed at least 3 sessions.

·      May 13: 10 ideas selected, 7 incubatees and 17 observers at the Saturday sessions. We have tackled manifesto writing, team building and the power of articulated vision.

5 years of Leadership 555 Uganda (L555), 2012-2017

Background Leadership 555 Uganda has been operational in the country since 2012 though it was formally registered this year (2017) as a Company Limited by Guarantee. For an organization that largely thrives on local resources, we have had a relatively low turnover where majority of the staff have been retained up to date. Even when most of them are either undergraduates or graduates, they have chosen to serve as volunteers or part-time staff for this worthwhile undertaking. It is developing to create a radical awareness of the global need for authentic leaderships in all social spheres. We live in a world where social problems have gradually become complex where most of the well-intended interventions have unfortunately worsened the situation.
