From a mere Service Provider to a Platform Orchestrator. William Mukisa

In the past, we used to just offer leadership empowerment services to our clients. Just like any other typical service provider, we would create attractive service-products that would suit the desires of our clients, met our overhead costs and sometimes a margin for sustainability in business.  We would also call networking meetings for the sake of networking especially for our loyal customers. Now things have changed! Experience has taught us that solving complex social problems is more dynamic than earlier assumed. We need every hand on deck in order to move small yet significant steps in the right direction. We now know that leaders will network and efficiently align themselves with like-minded people in the context of an environment where they give of themselves, that is, in form of skills, time or any other resource at their disposal. Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EOGM), May 22 2017, Stephen Iga

Following our registration was an opportunity to ‘clean the house’ given the fact that we has been at work for the last five years. With the aid of an experienced advocate of the High Court that was eventually brought on board as the Company Secretary, we learnt that several anomalies were done in the registration process and henceforth an EOGM was held on May 22nd 2017 to review the Company’s Business after Incorporation. Seven (6 present in person, 1 by proxy) of the nine members of the Company attended the meeting that successfully dealt with the matters at hand.

After a long struggle, like some of you already know, we were finally able to officially register Leadership 555 Uganda in February 2017 after meeting all the relevant requirements. Much as we’ve been in operational since 2012, our work was restrained in some areas and entities because we lacked the legal cover. It’s very clear that our operations since registration have been more intentional and reaching to wider scope than ever before.
