From a mere Service Provider to a Platform Orchestrator. William Mukisa
In the past, we used to just offer leadership empowerment services to our clients. Just like any other typical service provider, we would create attractive service-products that would suit the desires of our clients, met our overhead costs and sometimes a margin for sustainability in business. We would also call networking meetings for the sake of networking especially for our loyal customers. Now things have changed!
Experience has taught us that solving complex social problems is more dynamic than earlier assumed. We need every hand on deck in order to move small yet significant steps in the right direction. We now know that leaders will network and efficiently align themselves with like-minded people in the context of an environment where they give of themselves, that is, in form of skills, time or any other resource at their disposal. In there, they sacrifice competition at the altar of collaboration – all for the sake of transforming Uganda systemically. This strategic switch empowers leaders not to stay on the sidelines or receiving end but co-create and collaborate with others for mutual growth and collective impact. Imagine a conducive environment that enables people or things to connect, share information, and exchange products, services or insights! That’s what we call a platform.
The world, that is, the global village as we know it now, has never been this ready to work together towards systemic solutions to her predicaments.
