Introduction to Authentic Leadership. Ssebina Washington Kaggwa, Team Leader - L555
It was a follow up 12 hours engagement that was addressing the wrong perception of leaderships that is the difference between leading and managing. The purpose was to shift mindset from leaders are born to leaders are made and dealing with root causes rather than symptoms.
The main objective was to harness ideas for incubation process. The focus was to help the leaders to:
1. Know they source of identity.
2. Identify their passion
3. Define their core values and adhere to L555 core values
4. Know where they are going and to see clearly the way (clear vision).
5. To know their timing and seasons
6. Know when and how to communicate what they see.
7. Develop sustainable leadership’s strategies according to 2 Timothy 2:2.
8. Identify and define the problem
9. Identify their unique purpose
10. Identify their unique idea for solving the stated problem.
They were three sessions held in two parts as follows:
· 5th and 10th November 2016
· 12th and 17th November 2016
· 19th and 24th November 2016
There were fifty (50) participants who were engaged yet thirty (30) only completed the two parts of the engagement. Each participant had to come up with an unique idea to solve the problem they perceive they are called to catalyze to solve.
