Incubator Interviews, Apr 2017.

There were at least fifteen incubator candidates who were schedule for interviews from 20 th  to 25 th  April which were held successfully and ten candidates qualified for the incubation process. The interview was to check on the following: 1.       The idea and its systemic nature 2.       L555 values and leaders’ personal values. 3.       What the leader has been doing relating to the idea. 4.       The ability of the candidates to pay for phase one of incubation process. 5.       The passion and commitment to see the idea through the incubation process. 6.       Their willingness to collaborate and work in a team. 7.       Their understanding of the root cause of the problem and what others are doing about it (the problem statements). USAID Uganda Mission. Mar 2017.

Following a number of good discussions on  a systemic approach to social transformation  with Mr Joseph Mwangi of USAID in January and February, Leadership555 proceeded to have a sit down with top officials, including the Mission Director, at USAID offices on 1 st  March, 2017. We presented our model,  a solution to the problem of breakthrough , which highlighted the role of catalytic leaders, collaboration fuelled by a value-based community, radical innovation and the mobilisation of resources. The USAID team was keen to hear more about ongoing programs at a later date. Correspondence has been exchanged since, particularly in the area of USAID’s education initiatives in the country.
