Education Co-creation Lab, Feb. 2017. Aaron Kirunda

The vision of the Education C-Lab is to  catalyse  a  process  of  thoughtful collaboration  with  multi-disciplinary stakeholders  in order to  synthesize  Uganda’s resources towards  innovative and systemic impact  in education. This process is being led by Aaron Kirunda of Uganda Spelling Bee. Preliminary research led to the co-creation of a foundational strategy. Presently, the process is briefly paused while a significant funding opportunity to support some of the pioneering team is being pursued. Education Catalyst Engagements On 25 th  February 2017, Leadership555 hosted an education specific catalyst engagement. There were six participants present including a head of school, a pastor and an educator leading a radical literacy project in Uganda. L555 Registration, Feb 2017.

After a long struggle, like some of you already know, we were finally able to officially register Leadership 555 Uganda in February 2017 after meeting all the relevant requirements. Much as we’ve been in operational since 2012, our work was restrained in some areas and entities because we lacked the legal cover. It’s very clear that our operations since registration have been more intentional and reaching to wider scope than ever before.
